  • 2018-19 Calendar year adjustments

    Several factors have required a few adjustments be made to the district’s academic year calendar that impact students and staff, including no school on May 8 and changing the last day of school to Friday, June 7. See why these decisions were made.

  • The Oregonian: RHS girls' basketball team most improved in state

    Since coaches often base a season's success more on improvement than wins and losses, The Oregonian compiled a list of Oregon high school teams showing the most improvement this year. We're proud to share the Class 3A Riverdale girls' basketball team showed the most improvement in any class.

  • 2019 Mock Trial team advances to state

    After facing strong competition at the regional level, Riverdale’s blue team was one of five Multnomah County teams to qualify for the state competition, and the white team did better than ever before.

  • Riverdale's bridge building reign continues

    Riverdale once again swept all top 20 spots at the 2019 Oregon Regional Model Bridge Contest, with the top two students qualifying to move on to the international competition.

  • Art recognition for RHS students

    Seven RHS students were recognized for their submissions to the Scholastic Art Awards, including two Gold Keys, three Silver Keys and four Honorable Mentions. Additionally, two paintings by RHS students were selected to hang in Sen. Rob Wagner’s office in Salem this winter and spring.

    From over 2,000 submissions to NPR, three Riverdale students’ entries were selected for the final crowd-sourced love poem heard all over the world.

  • 2019 RHS basketball achievements

    For the first time, the Riverdale girls’ basketball team is the 3A Lewis & Clark League and District Tournament Champions! Plus, the team received the Les Schwab Team of the Month award and was nominated for the OSAA Sportsmanship Award. Both girls' and boys' teams earned All League honors. Read more.
