Oregon Golf Experience Field Studies (2024)

In the "Oregon Golf Experience" Field Study led by Mr. Pridemore, RHS students explored the game of golf at various courses within driving distance of Portland. The field study kicked off with a golf lesson to ensure everyone, from beginners to experienced players, could enjoy and improve their skills.

Students engaged in a variety of golf activities, from playing full 18-hole rounds and using simulators to enjoying mini-golf and virtual golf experiences. This field study provided valuable exercise and offered personalized learning experiences, challenging both new and experienced players in a supportive environment.

Every spring Riverdale high school students participate in a week of field studies. 

These excursions provide the opportunity to use classroom knowledge in real-world, experiential settings.
