RHS Girls Flag Football Game Versus Lakeridge

Riverdale High School's Girls Flag Football team showcased their resilience and skill in a thrilling match against Lakeridge on April 12th.

Despite being outnumbered (we had 8 players, Lakeridge had nearly 40!), our team matched their opponents in skill, speed, and strength. The Mavericks were down 20-6 at halftime, and then roared back to take the lead 34-28 in the third quarter. In the fourth, Lakeridge tied 34-34, and with only 1:39 left on the clock, Lakeridge scored for a final score of 41-34.

But the score does not reflect our team's perseverance or performance. Many spectators and coaches from both schools said it was a great game and left saying, WOW! They fought hard and played some excellent football.
