Posted on Feb. 22, 2017

Congratulations to the Girls’ Varsity Basketball team for receiving the Sportsmanship Award for the Lewis and Clark League. The award was presented over the weekend during the league championship games.

Additional kudos to the four basketball players to receive league honors for the season: Nikolai Perepelitza (2nd team), Zoe Zurasky (2nd team), Allison Molinari (3rd team), Mason Mogck (Honorable mention). These players were also the four leaders of the "$3 for 3s" fundraiser this season. Nikolai (45), Allison (42), Mason (42), and Zoe (39). All together, the teams made 239 three-pointers, netting $717 for the Riverdale Booster Club from Hensleigh Appraisal Services.

And to follow-up with swimmer Natalie Jones who competed at the state finals this weekend, she placed 9th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:15.74.
