Aug. 27 - Riverdale High School News

Today, we welcomed back our all of our new students to the high school. Students were able to see where their classes would be, get to know their teachers and meet fellow classmates!

Schedules & Change Requests

Schedules go live at 8 a.m. Monday morning. We encourage you to attend at least your first full day of classes before requesting a change.
Should you need a schedule change, please complete this form.
Scheduling questions should be directed to Cheryl Wright at
Upon submission of the completed schedule change form, the form is dated and time stamped. The requests are processed in order of priority of the change needed, and then in order of receipt. It is important to complete the form as it will place students on a waitlist should availability open.
After turning in a schedule change form, students must continue to attend all classes listed on their schedules until there is an updated schedule in their StudentVUE account.

Advisory Program

Riverdale High School's advisory program includes placing students in mixed-grade groups. We value this tradition in order to help students develop relationships with peers across grade levels and grow into leadership roles within their advisory. In order to maintain grade-level balance across advisory groups, it has become necessary to shuffle student placement. Although transitions are difficult, we believe that this year is a good opportunity for a fresh start. RHS teachers look forward to building relationships with their new advisory students and maintaining strong connections with those who are leaving their classes.

Xpress Catering Lunch Refund

Please email to let Barry know that there is still a balance on your account that needs to be refunded.

Welcome to the new school year with a new lunch program!

Shelly Pascoe and Healthy Habits Catering will be providing lunch this year. Healthy Habits is doing this change on short notice, so the menu for the first three weeks will be limited to pizza, chicken strips, sandwiches, and salads, while things get up and running and they introduce themselves to the HS community.
Following the appropriate Covid safety protocols, lunches will need to be ordered two days ahead of time and will be individually bagged for students to pick up in the lunchroom.
You can order lunch at If you are new to lunch ordering, use 213RGSOROR for the school code. If you had an account at the Grade School, it is probably still active. If you are asked to prompt for a school, you can add Riverdale High School or choose Riverdale Grade School if you have students at both schools. Ordering from a HIGH SCHOOL menu (and not a grade school menu) is the most important piece.
Shelly and Healthy Habits are excited and looking forward to serving lunch for the HS students and staff this year. If there are any questions, please contact Shelly Pascoe at (for menu or ingredient information) or Anita Scarlett at (for ordering support). We are all looking forward to seeing your students soon!
