School Board Meeting Monday

The Riverdale School Board will hold a Board Meeting on Monday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. via GoToWebinar. Community members who would like to speak on items not on the agenda will have that opportunity at the beginning of the meeting. In addition, community members who would like to speak on agenda topics will be given an opportunity to do so after the board discusses that particular topic. There are two options for submitting public comment: Use the “raise hand” feature to then be unmuted to read aloud your comment, or email your comment to Chrisie Patrick, and she will read it.

Agenda Highlights

  • Mission Moment from RHS Student Leadership: Truly Martin & Colin Carmichael
  • Discussion of Spectators/Visitors at Future Indoor Events

From SB Live about Tuesday evening's girl soccer game, "Riverdale edged Santiam Christian 7-6 in a penalty-kick shootout to get the 2-1 win on the road in a first-round match. Truly Martin scored for Riverdale in the 29th minute, with Oliva Haima tying the score in the 58th minute. After the teams were still tied at 1-1 at the end of regulation, and at the end of two 10-minute overtime sessions, the match went to a shootout. Riverdale goalkeeper Hannah Conte had three saves during the shootout. Freshman Isabel Milla scored the winning seventh penalty kick goal for Riverdale. Riverdale improved to 7-5. The Mavericks will play at Pleasant Hill in a quarterfinal match Saturday. Santiam Christian finished its season 11-4."
The boys won 6-0 on Wednesday against South Umpqua High School in front of our energetic home crowd.
