FOR YOUR INFORMATION

COVID-19 Update

The district lifted the indoor mask mandate in mid-March and continues to support student and staff choice regarding masking. Please note that local transmission rates have increased since then (more information below); however, our county remains in the low-risk green zone, meaning there is no mask recommendation from the CDC.

From OregonLive

“Reported coronavirus cases are climbing for the third week following nine weeks of steady declines, with an average of about 550 new cases per day reported Tuesday. That’s up from a late-March low of about 200 new cases per day reported after the omicron surge.
Moreover, the state’s reported number of COVID-19 cases is an undercount, at least in part because of the wide availability of at-home tests, the results of which people aren’t required to report to health officials.
The actual number of cases could be as high as 10 times more than reported. But that isn’t necessarily a major problem for the state, because health officials can still track trends in case numbers and, most importantly, hospitalizations — perhaps the most accurate measure of the pandemic’s burden.”

Paddle Raise Extended Until April 30

It's not too late to donate! We are so close to our $86,000 goal, and no contribution is too small. Please consider donating to help us provide much-needed technology hardware and A/V upgrades to ALL our classrooms across the district. We can do this Riverdale!
