Watch the Aug. 25 Parent Forum
This latest forum introduces our new grade school principal Stephanie Kendall, discusses how SEL will look at both schools with our counselors and provides an athletics update from Rob Pridemore. GoToWebinar Meeting videos are posted to the Riverdale Facebook page following the meeting.
The high school and grade school plan to have separate forums to answer more specific questions soon.
Watch this informational video below to better understand the differences between spring and fall instruction and to learn more about Comprehensive Distance Learning.
This fall, we will be enabling Gmail for all K-12 students to better support teacher-student communication. In the interest of student safety, Gmail will be limited to communication within the Riverdale domain for K-4 students. Account usernames and passwords have been emailed to parents of K-4 students.
Once students are logged into their Riverdale-provided Google accounts, Meet can best be accessed by clicking the Google Apps icon (some call it the "waffle") and then clicking the Meet icon, or by navigating to meet.google.com.
Families that submitted a response to last Friday's technology survey and also submitted a signed technology loan agreement electronically will be able to pick up a loaner laptop as follows:

- Last Names N-Z - Sept. 4

Families with multiple GS students should attend the time slot for their oldest student, at which time devices for all of their students will be available for pickup.
Families unable to attend the GS pickup on Thursday, Sept. 3 can schedule a Friday, Sept. 4 pickup by calling the GS office at 503.262.4840. Friday pickup times will be available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. by appointment only.
Please stay in your cars until it’s your turn to pick up your materials.
An update to the free ParentVUE app is available in the mobile app stores. Download links are always available by clicking More Options at riverdaleschool.com/parentvue.
Students can access Riverdale StudentVUE at riverdaleschool.com/studentvue using their Riverdale Google username and password.
We ask that all families double-check their mailing addresses as they appear in either ParentVUE and/or on the registration verification form, especially those that changed due to the USPS change from Southwest to South Portland this spring.
Parents who don't yet have an account, can't remember their password, or have any questions regarding ParentVUE/StudentVUE, please contact Grace Thompson at the high school or Suzanne Bevier at the grade school.

The Riverdale Parent Teacher Club (PTC) communicates with families weekly when school is in session via the Parent Pack Newsletter email and the occasional as-needed eblast throughout the year. Information relates to PTC-supported activities, and sometimes non-PTC supported events that are going on in the local community. Parent Pack emails are through a separate email system and are not managed/sent by the district.
